For the last workshop in the Ideation series, we invited Tejas Bhalerao, an interaction designer at Mastercard to conduct a workshop on UX prototyping tools. It was an honor for us to have Tejas teach the basics of prototyping and the “why” behind all the design decisions. The participants learnt a lot about different tools, how to choose them and what kind of prototype can be created with it. Tejas did an amazing job of demonstrating Sketch, Adobe XD and InVision using samples and hands on exercises. He also introduced tools like Framer studio, Proto.io, Principle and Axure to students. The hands on exercise was to prototype ‘My Digital Persona’ mobile app with a human centered design approach.

The students found the session very beneficial and said that they learnt a lot of concepts that weren’t taught in school. They also mentioned that they would like to attend more of such events. The Greenhouse at MakerSpace is extremely grateful to Tejas for conducting a very informative and insightful workshop.
