![]() The 8th annual $100,000 NYU Technology Venture Competition, part of the larger $300,000 NYU Entrepreneurs Challenge, starts soon. The Tech Venture Competition was created for NYU faculty, PhD students and researchers to support and fund the commercialization of their research and inventions. Over the past 7 years, researchers from virtually every NYU school/college have participated to receive support in their efforts to create a startup venture based on their research. Recent winners have included GeoPipe (Courant), Redesign Science (GSAS), Ephemeral Tattoos (Tandon), Physiclo (Medicine), Oculogica (Medicine) and RF Testlabs (Medicine). The official kick-off for the 2017-18 Entrepreneurs Challenge is on Wed, Sept 13 @ 5 pm at Tisch Hall. RSVP here. If you can’t make it then, we have also scheduled several info sessions specifically for NYU faculty, PhD students and researchers. If you or your team are interested in learning more about the Tech Venture Competition, I encourage you to RSVP and attend one of the upcoming info sessions scheduled around campus:
