A pop-up event for three ideas selected at the OpenIDEO fall prevention challenge was conducted at the GreenHouse on May 5th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. This event was mainly for the refinement of ideas.
The three ideas were by Joy’s Gait Going App, Bettina’s Walk Wise, and a DFA NYU Project called Mobility devices for the elderly building an All-terrain Cane. These are also one of the 40 ideas that got through the Ideas phase which originally had 206 ideas.
After the three ideas were presented to the participants, we were given great feedback from the audience. All three ideas will be further refined and tested. All these ideas have the potential to be among the top ideas (to be announced in June 2017).
