Spring Prototyping Fund Deadline Is Announced: February 8th, 5:00 PM
The NYU Prototyping Fund is a program offered through a collaboration between the Design Lab @ NYU Tandon MakerSpace and the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute. Its primary objective is to provide students with the encouragement, resources, and tools necessary to bring your ideas to life. The prototypes you build with these funds should help you articulate and test your assumptions and move to the next stage of product development.
Awards Overview
• Awards will be granted twice per year (Fall and Spring semesters)
• ~8 – 12 teams will receive awards each semester
• Applicants can apply for up to $500 in prototyping funds
• Funds must be used for tools and materials to build the prototype (not to pay someone else to build it for you)
Selection Criteria

• Understanding of why you need a prototype and what it will help you achieve
• Teams will be given preference (individual applicants will be considered)
