SKYSCAN 1172 MICRO-CT SCANNER

The Bruker SkyScan 1172 is our Micro CT scanner. It uses X-rays and a turntable to view 'slices' of the internal structure of an object. It is a non-destructive imaging process. Reconstruction software is available to generate a 3D model from these slices.

Policies
MakerSpace Safety Orientation is required, as well as specific training for this machine. Training is by appointment only, email tandon-makerspace@nyu.edu for scheduling.
